I’m a policy wonk by trade, with a particular interest in energy, the environment, and social justice.
I received a M.P.P. degree from the University of Maryland in 2008, and a B.A. from St. John’s College in 2003. Currently, I am a writer-editor for BLH Technologies. (Note: the opinions expressed on this blog are solely my own and do not necessarily represent those of my employer.) Previously, I have written on climate and energy policy issues for Garten Rothkopf and have done research on energy statistics for the Energy Programs Consortium.
Things I like, in no particular order: Economic history, soccer, baseball, social democracy, serial television, Indian cuisine, American poetry, Canadian indie rock, and teaching myself new things. “I am still learning,” as Michelangelo said.
My preferred means of contact are email (ikesmith at gmail dot com), Twitter (@ikesmith) and Google+.
